About

Grant Grant Salick is a freelance photographer who started in 2008 with photography as a hobby.
At that time he had no actual photography or basic editing experience, but this soon developed when he joined a local photography forum based in the Cape Town area. From there he discovered new photography fields and learned more about photography and post production editing.

Friends and family started taking note of his photography work and asked if he would not mind taking some photographs for them.
Being self-taught and guided by fellow photographers Grant’s photography hobby grew into what it has become today, a small online part time business. He doesn’t have a specific style/type of photography and he still photographs anything and everything he sees.

Grant Salick is a freelance photographer, specialising in a range of different photography fields and don’t want to be associated with only one main type of photography style.

His photography work range from: Birthday Parties, Matric Balls, Confirmations, Baptism, Graduations, Private Events, Corporate Events. Baby showers, Maternity shoots, Portraits, Lifestyle Photo shoots, Couple Engagement shoots and most of all Weddings.

Requests from family, friends and strangers, led to the design and develop his own website in 2010, with the help of talented web developer Mr Shaun Crous.
He is the Owner and Go-to-Guy at GS – Freelance Photography.

Grant actively contributed to the Centenary Book of St Mary the Virgin Anglican church, which were publish and printed in 2014.
Grant was also credited for his photographs that were used in the Quill and Quiver (Anglican Church) newsletter and the local community newspaper.

He still enjoys photography and editing photographs while servicing existing and new clients.
His aim is to offer his clients the very best photography available, which he’s able to produce at an affordable rate.

Grant Salick lives in Scottsville, Kraaifontein, a suburb located close to Cape Town, South Africa.
